1.GOOGLE
The
tech giant celebrates its sixth year at No. 1 and recently bolstered
its parental leave benefits. New parents, regardless of gender
(including dads, domestic partners, adoptive parents, and surrogate
parents), can now get up to twelve weeks of fully paid baby bonding
time. Google also provides $500 of “Baby Bonding Bucks” to all
new parents to use during the first three months of their child’s
life.

New
Tweeps spend their first week in “Flight School” at the social
media network’s San Francisco headquarters. Among other orientation
topics, they learn about their intranet, Birdhouse, that lets
employees send a shout-out Tweet to other employees. The shout-out
includes the recipient’s picture and why they are being recognized.

and gives an $800,000 endowment in their names to a university of
their choice for computer science education. To date, the firm has
donated $4 million to Stanford University, the University of
